The legalization process will continue from today till 2021, said the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday on its own social platform Facebook page.

In a Facebook post to make the workers aware, the High Commission suggested that Bangladeshis take the opportunity to become legal.

It was also informed that the Malaysian government has announced to legalize the construction, manufacturing, plantation and agriculture sectors on behalf of the High Commission. The employer or the company will be able to take part in the process directly and will not be able to go through immigration through anyone other than the company or go to immigration on their own.

The message on social media platform Facebook further states that only employers or companies can apply for immigration directly by mail to rekalibrasi@imi.gov.my with the names of illegal employees and employees will not be able to apply directly.

The High Commission then informed that no agent or vendor has been appointed in the legalization process announced by the Malaysian government so the expatriates are advised not to do financial transactions with anyone and should take the opportunity to reach through the company.
